Ugh, I hate it when people ban books. who are they to say what should and should not be read?
at the most only a parent/ guardian can tell a kid they cant read a book.

Banning books is stupid. As the saying goes Stupid is as stupid does. Which is why the people who ban books should have stupid seared into their forehead.

+10 Joined Ban This! and already blogged about it.

I can't believe book banning still exists. It's so dumb. If you ban a book people are just going to want to read it more. Well, at least that what I think. =]

As an English teacher I have to walk a fine line between what is "appropriate" and what books students NEED to read - those books that will teach them something other books can't.

The funny things about "banned" books is that it just makes young readers seek these books out more. I know that I've read a good chunk of the books listed above, and they are worth reading, and everyone should have the oppurtunity to read them.
