M.A.S.H. - The Game
You know you used to make those flippy things back in the day. And if you're like me now, you'd sooner stab the piece of paper to death before you could figure out how to make one of these things again.
But you all remember MASH, right? The ultimate method for pre-pubescent kids to tell their fortunes, like who they're going to marry, what kind of car they're going to drive and whether you're going to live in a shack or not. How could fortune-telling get any more accurate?
And I know MASH wasn't actually played with that foldy thingy. But there were other similar games that you screwed around with using it. If you're feeling all nostalgic, go make your own. Or, if you're up for it, sit down and play a game of MASH. What does your future look like?
I will live in an apartment, drive a green Corvette, marry James Purefoy (Google him, *drool*), have zero kids (it knows me so well), be independently wealthy and live in London.
I'd say that doesn't look half bad! (open up Internet Explorer for this one, it didn't want to work right in my Firefox)

I used to love that game. I can still make the thingie. I don't play the game anymore but I do make the thingie when I'm bored. Keeps me from biting my nails.
As for the book, I do re-read them and plan on doing it again. If I've had it for over 6 months, I've read it at least twice. I already did my yearly spring cleaning and got rid of all the ones I didn't think I'd read again. Those are what's left.
Thanks for the suggestion!
When I was a kid me & my best friend would play MASH but put like ALL horrible choices under the guys section and maybe ONE good choice just to be annoying. Haha! Good times.
I remember playing MASH, except I had a hard time thinking up choices that you can put...
I simply adored that game! I can still make it too. One of the other things we once did was write out our name and the boy's name that we liked. You would cross out all the letters that you shared and with the ones left over you would cicle and say "love, hate, friendship, marriage" whatever you stopped on was your fortune. :)
Holy crap, Amelia! That's *after* the cleaning? Wow!
My friends and I used to go screwy with the games too. We also used to make our own Ouiji boards and play them during tech ed class (when we had to take it back in middle school). It's always awesome to freak yourself out.
I used to love these! Even the BSC had them ^_^
Oh my lord, I forgot about that bloody thing. Just one more piece of my grade school days I tucked away in the darker recesses. I don't think I could ever bring myself to try and make one though. I always left the paper-folding skills to my friend, Lis. :)
