Meh. This one isn't sounding too intriguing for me. Has anyone read it? I know its been re-released recently. It just doesn't sound like my type of thing.

It's not bad (I own the series), but as for recommending it, it's definitely a borrow-from-the-library book. The story's a little predictable, and the main character is weaker than some of L. J. Smith's other leads. If you love The Vampire Diaries, it might be worth a read-through.
Ooooh, I remember reading these when I was in high school and really liking them. Not sure they'd be my thing now, but I ate them up back then.
I liked the secret Circle books a lot when I was younger. Haven't tried them again lately, but am delighted they are available again!
I read all of LJ Smith's books when I was growing up. Vampire Diaries was my favorite and this series was my second favorite. I re-read them last year and actually ended up enjoying the Secret Circle more than Vampire Diaries. That said I don't think it really compares to the YA books that have come out in recent years.
