How cute and peppy their music was! Beachy and totally on par with the likes of Bananarama. And they were as squeaky clean as their music, right? Riiiiiiiiiiiiight. These coke-snorting, alcohol-guzzling party girls could have given Motley Crue a run for their money. You'd never know it by their music, though.

We got the beat...LOVED the Go-Gos and remember seeing them in concert. I believe I even wore a headband--across my forehead. How cool was I?!
SO true. I just heard Vacation the other day and was pretty much re-impressed with the genius of the Go-Go's. I think that we had it good in the 80's and didn't even know it. I'm going to have to get some of their tunes for my ipod. That'll make me exercise!
