In case you didn't know, Book Blogger Appreciation Week, or BBAW, is September 14th to 18th and nominations close on August 15th so be sure to visit the website and vote for your favorite blog in each of the categories! You can just click on the banner I have right on the right for easy access.
This blog wasn't even a thought in my mind's eye during BBAW last year and it's just past the 6 month point a couple weeks ago so the "highlights from last year" meme that BBAW has on their site is pretty much a moot point for me. But they do have a newbie meme that I can complete! While I'm just past the definition of new, since I wasn't around the book blogosphere last year, I'll give them a shot!
1. What has been one of the highlights of blogging for you?
It has to be interacting with the book blogging community as a whole. It's just a fun place to be! And being a book blogger got me into BEA, something I so wasn't expecting so double yay for that!
2. What blogger has helped you out with your blog by answering questions, linking to you or inspiring you?
Off the top of my head, Steph Su, Shalonda, Miss Cindy and Sharon have all been dominant names circling around my blog. And Reviewer X is a hugh inspiration for me. We have similiar voices. I just wish I was as upfront as she is now when I was her age! They just always seem to be there and I love it!
3. What one question do you have about BBAW that someone who participated last year could answer?
I'd have to say, is this BBAW thing really as big and far-reaching as I think it is? It just seems huge! Just hows how much of a noob I still am!
