Book Wars (6)

Is it really any surprise that the winner of last week's battle, by an overwhelming number, was Harry Potter? I mean seriously? It pwns. Like always.

Just a little caveat for this week's books: they're not being pitted against each other because they have similar content, but similar writing styles. They're both at the more literary end of YA and it's been said the elegance of writing in both is very high. With that in mind, let's FIGHT!

Shiver

vs.

The Forest of Hands and Teeth

Not sure how to vote, I have not voted before but for me - it's Shiver HANDS DOWN - I like the Forest of Hands and Teeth, but Shiver was just amazing! :)

I haven't read either of these either. I picked up Shiver several weeks ago from Chapters, so I'm going to vote for Shiver! :)

I am working against a crowd here. I say Forest of Hands and Teeth - because every time my phone rang while reading it.. I jumped out of my skin. You just can't beat that...

Forest of Hands and Teeth. It's not like a bunch of other stories out there.

I've only read forest of hands and teeth, but I didn't like it at all. I can only hope that Shiver is better.

Shiver for me.

No contest, Forest of Hands and Teeth sucked, I never finished it because I read the first 150 pages and NOTHING HAPPENED.

Shiver gains my vote, hands down, no second thought.
