Things I've Learned from Books + 35

Slugs are eviller than they look. One should avoid them at all costs and keep a store of salt in a perpetually handy place. It could save your life.

LOL - I think that is just awesome! I love learning things from books. We do this as part of my book club reads... fiction or not, we have to learn something. In Patterson's book Honeymoon we learned how to take out our spouse with scrambled eggs..... super funny moments!

Those damn slugs! I actually just read a short story with a vampire slug as the antagonist. Really . . . interesting . . .

Now I'm wondering what *Zombie* slugs would be like ? Night of the Living Slime kinda thing lol
Oh, and not just any kind of salt would do ... SEA salt, perhaps :P

Quick true story: Friend of ours loves drinking beer outta huge mugs, summer night, set mug on ground, then took a large gulp ... AND IMMEDIATELY spit out a huge, disgusting slimy turbo slug that had crawled into his mug. It was hysterically funny (friend did not think so).
The moral here: Slugs love beer

Now I'm envisioning a Singles' Bar for Solitary Slugs =P
