WTF is this? Anyone?

Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince Exclusive Clip

I know it's been a little while since I've read HBP but I sure as hell don't remember this part. And please tell me that Frankenstein looking thing isn't supposed to be an Inferi . . .

You know, despite this, this one looks pretty good but it chaps my ass when the makers complain that the books are too long so they have to cut stuff out of it but then they go in and add stuff that was never in there to begin with. What the hell?

It does look good. I think I'm going to have to go back and read the series over again. At this point I think I'm getting used to things getting changed.

I don't remember this bit either. Mind you, I have only read the books once...

I really need to re-read them. Yeah they've changed something every movie but it still tweaks me when they do it. They cut out so much to save time and then add stuff in there that wasn't in there to begin with. Why?

I was thinking the same thing. I don't remember any of that stuff. I haven't read the book in years, but I'd think that something like that would be memorable.

I do not remember this, and I've read the books so many times!

Okie, umm I just relistened to this one... and they only time they fight the Death Eaters is at the school... And Harry is not in on the fight until later. That was towards the end of the book as well. Hrm.

Oooo unless it's a dream Harry has?

This never happened in the book, to the best of my knowledge. So weird. Why now, after all the previous films that stuck to pretty much the original story, did they decide to start inventing stuff?

I don't remember this part and I JUST reread this thing. I think that the Frankenstein looking guy is one of the dead eaters actually.

I don't remember this part either. I found this on a Harry Potter Wiki:

"There has been an additional scene in the film, an attack on the Burrow by Death Eaters. It is going to happen during the Christmas holidays, (there have been pictures showing a full dressed Harry guarding Ginny in a sleeping gown from Bellatrix who had shot a blast of red light on Ginny, making Fenrir Greyback appear and duel Harry and Ginny.) Clips of this assault have appeared on the three most recent trailers, showing a ring of fire around the Burrow, Bellatrix Lestrange apparating there, Tonks and Lupin getting ready to fight, and Harry, and Ginny wading through a flooded field of high grass, and Fenrir Greyback and Bellatrix Lestrange attacking them."

I guess a visit from the new minister was just too boring?

Yeah this is definitely not in the books. I'm assuming the reason they add this in there is to show Harry and Ginny's love for each other since, it's hard to show what they feel for each other well, compared to the books anyway. I'm saying that b/c obviously Harry's going to rescue Ginny from Bellatrix.

That's supposed to be Fenrir? O_o Why does he look like Frankenstein?

It looks pretty good, but you're right, I don't remember this being in the book...

Oh, now I see the whole thing. Since the actress that played Fleur is not in this movie, they had to take the part where Bill gets mauled in Hogwarts and move it to the burrow (I believe the last person in that shot was Bill).

I could be wrong.

It is not part of the book. It is an added scene. Looks good, but without the rest of the movie to put into context I really don't know where it fits in.
