January TBR Pile Update

What better way to gain perspective on my massive TBR pile than to have a monthly update? Kind of like a monthly weigh-in, I'll be comparing my TBR pile from the beginning of the year at the end of each month to see how I fared during that time. Did I make a dent? A scratch? Fleck off some dust? Only time will tell. Let's see how I did for January.

First the starting TBR pile -

Holy crap, nothing's changed. But it appears my TBR pile has grown a mole of a seventh pile off to the left there. Why are they separate? So I don't pull them for the Off the Shelf Challenge. I don't want to cheat. Thankfully none of them are review copies. At least that pile appears to have not grown. Doesn't appear to have shrunk either. Son of a bitch! Must. Keep. Reading.

I feel a bit the same way : no matter how much I read, I feel like my TBR pile is not moving except up, up, up! Great idea though to track it through pictures! :D I should do the same, maybe it would help?

Amazing piles of books! Am firmly convinced that books breed whenever we're not looking, and that's why our TBR piles continue to grow! I have my piles scattered all over the house in the hope that if I don't know how many unread books I have, I won't faint from shock. ;)

Your pile reminds me of my TBR! Only my pile's scattered: balancing on windowsills, big stacks on top of bookcases, and some even on the floor by my bed! And it just seems to keep growing!
It looks like you have absolutely awesome books on your pile as well! I can't wait to hear the reviews on them all!
