Finally, the YA world will know what it's like to have GOOD vampire books out there again! Fuck you glitter pixies and Prada-wearing fanged bitches! Oh god the good is coming back! Hopefully next it'll be Fear Street and then I just might pee a little.
Yeah, I so pre-ordered this.

Are they really considered vampires if they glitter and don't have actual fangs? I've been reading a lot of Fear Street books lately and I've also worked in some Christopher Pike too.
I already have the first 3 books in that format lol. Bought it a long time ago.
I've been re-reading a lot of Mr. C. Pike and noticed he's rather cheesy. I never read the vampire books though. Are they really that awesome? (Note that I have not read any vampire books besides Christopher Moore's comedic ones).
Barb, that would be a no. Only in certain people's deluded word would something like that be considered a vampire.
Liyana, it must be an older compilation then. This one doesn't come out until August. I just love the timing. Insert some good onto the shelves.
Lenore, the cheese is the best part! I remember really liking The Last Vampire, which is the first in the series but I don't remember about the rest. I'll have to wait until I get the book and re-read it! *squee*
Ha awesome. I was about 12-13 when I first read these. It's weird that I have no idea what happened to all my Pike and Stein books since I owned THEM ALL. That was about 14 years ago though I guess I'm allowed to forget :)
Sounds like a good series, I might pick it up soon. Been wanting to read a good vampire book lately :)
