In case you didn't know, Children's Book Week runs from May 2nd to May 8th this year. What is Children's Book Week? It's simply a week-long celebration of reading for the yutes, er, youths. From online celebrations to in-store super events, Children's Book Week exists to spread the love of reading.

The Children's Choice Book Awards! Here's your chance to have your say and vote for the book you think is best. The finalists are -

You just can't forget about Children's Book Week! Publisher's Weekly has a nice, easy rundown of all the important stuff going on that week. Or you can just head on over to the Book Week website directly and rummage for yourself. But whatever you do, don't let the week go by without promoting this awesome event. And be sure to vote in the Children's Choice Book Awards! I'm not a kid or a teen and I voted! I just couldn't help myself.
