Ok, so not only has my blog been nominated for the Best Speculative Fiction Blog, but I just got an email this morning indicating that I've also been nominated for the Best Humorous/Funniest Blog! OMFG!
Seriously, I think I'm going to faint. What is going on here? For someone that doesn't promote their blog, I sure am feeling the love! :) Thank you to everyone who nominated me! Holy crap!
I just sent in my requirements for the specfic nods. Now I have to do the humor. I'm thinking my anti-trollspirant post might make it in there! And oh so many Twilight knocks to choose from. *squee*

Holy shitballs, Batman! + Reminder!
Just a reminder that my Fade to Blue contest ends tonight at midnight, EST! Be sure to get your entries in by then!
Ok, so I sign into my Yahoo! account and I see I got a couple of emails. I click one open and at first I thought it was one of those "you won" spam emails because I thought I signed into a different account than by Bites one.
But then I took a closer look . . .
Holy schnikes! I've been nominated for a BBAW Award for Best Speculative Fiction Blog! OMG! I swear I read that email I don't know how many times just making sure I was reading it right and if it really was for me. OMFG!
At first I thought of my blog and didn't really think it was all that specfic-y. Then I started going through my posts so I could get my nomination requirements in and . . . yeah, pretty specfic-y. I read mostly horror and fantasy, comment on mostly horror and fantasy. It's a pretty big trend that I never noticed before but obviously my readers did! Yay! I mean, I always figured my blog was just a general YA book blog. Sure I slanted towards horror but I guess you are what you read, huh?
And the thing is, being that I was nominated, it means a bunch of people went and nominated me! They thought of my little blog!

Holy crapweasels that is so cool. So unexpected. Here I am, farting along, and BAM! Nod. That is just totally awesome. Thank you, thank you, thank you to everyone that nominated me! Now I can't wait to see how I do on the shortlist scheme of things! What an honor!
